Located 500 metres above Lake Lucerne in the canton of Nidwalden close to Lucerne, this 5-star hotel awaits you with a combination of modern comfort and a traditional Swiss ambience. Everything was perfect. Staffs were super friendly, breakfast was delicious and the Spa was awesome. Definitely worth the money. We had high expectations given how nice the pictures online look and it looks even better in person.

The appartment is situated in a location which is excellent for making various trips and beautiful walks. It is equipped with a very comfortable bed and a new bathroom. The window blinds, the secluded parking space and the (shared) swimming pool are very nice perks. We and our dog also liked the spacious balcony very much. The hosts are super friendly and welcoming.

The modern Hotel Krone is just a 5-minute walk from the banks of Lake Lucerne and Buochs Ferry Port. It features 2 restaurants and a summer terrace with garden lounge. We have stayed here several times. There is ample parking behind the hotel or across the road. Staff on the front desk and at breakfast very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is always very good, continental with good selection. Our room was clean and comfortable. We have never had dinner there but there is an excellent Italian restaurant just two minutes walk down the road.

The Seeblick Höhenhotel in Emmetten is situated on a sunny terrace above Lake Lucerne. It offers panoramic lake views, an indoor pool, free Wi-Fi and free parking. Excellent breakfast, very narrow and winding road to get to the hotel. Great Lake and Mountain View’s. Parking could sometimes be a little bit challenging.

The Seehotel Baumgarten is located amid a large park with a beach on Lake Lucerne, at the foot of the Bürgenstock Mountain. It offers panoramic views and parking. Went out of their way to accommodate special needs (gluten-free) and wishes (special kids food choices).
