The property has an amazing view... Yes you have to drive up to get there but it is not complicated. It is a beautiful resort; Well thought out and Luca, the resort manager, is always close and very communicative. I would highly recommend this resort.

Dotato di una piscina all'aperto e di una piscina separata per bambini, l'Hotel Korali sorge a soli 80 metri dalla spiaggia di Troulos e a 10 km dalla vivace città di Skiathos. The Location was well situated along the bus route and a short walk to the beach. There was a small supermarket next to the hotel. Breakfasts were good. Our host was amazing! After checkout I realised that I had forgotten an item in the room. She sent it via courier to our next European destination. I would definitely stay at Hotel Korali again.

But what really stands out is the level of ownership and the amount of attention to detail, positive energy and customer centricity that Stavros, his staff and family bring to the mix on any given day. From the lovely coffeeshop and bakery downstairs (one of the best coffees on the island), to being open and attentive to any request, these people are the very definition of what's good in hospitality. Thank you!

Ubicato a 300 metri dal Porto di Skiathos, l'Anthena Studios offre una piscina, uno snack bar e monolocali climatizzati con connessione Wi-Fi gratuita, dotati di un balcone con vista sulla terrazza... Very friendly owners and an immaculately clean room. The swimming pool was surprisingly nice being located in the middle of the city, although I never had a chance to use it.

Situato in una posizione splendida all'interno dell'area protetta del Lago di Strofilia, a 200 metri dalla premiata spiaggia di Koukounaries, il Mandraki Village Boutique Hotel ospita una piscina, un... Skiathos is awesome, small, very lush, with plenty of excellent beaches, very friendly locals and impressive cuisine (sometimes unfortunately toned down a bit to meet the taste of the tourists; look for places a bit off the main throughfares). The only issue is that it gets very crowded and there are a lot of obnoxious and loud British, who seem to think that they own the place. Visiting the Monastery of Evangelistria is a must (the aforementioned British are excused from this). Local honey and wine are exquisite (for the latter, refer to the wine list in the restaurant). The hotel is very close to Koukounaries Beach (5 mins walk, downhill - uphill on the way back...), which is beautiful, but quite noisy and crowded, especially in the early afternoon, when the water taxis bring in hordes of tourists from the city. Banana Beach is supposed to be very nice, but has all but been taken over by the nearby luxury hotel, could not find a way there. Best bet is to rent a car and visit the genuinely awesome secluded beaches on the western/northern shore, accessible via a dirt road (watch out for people, who do have a quad, but not common sense). Note that there are only a few understocked and overpriced shops and small choice of restaurants in the area. For shopping groceries, rent a car and head to one of the Sklavenitis shops (biggest one is next to the airport). The hotel itself comprises of several small buildings scattered around in a beautifully kept garden, rooms are nice and spacious. The swimming pool is quite small, but there is no reason why anyone would spend any time there with all the awesome beaches around. The staff are very professional, helpful and kind. As regards breakfast: this is one of the rare cases when "excellent" is right on point.

Con vista sul mare, Hikers Studio Trail 5 and 6 mette a disposizione una piscina all’aperto stagionale, un giardino e una terrazza e si trova a circa 3,6 km da Castello di Skiathos. L'accoglienza di Vicky e Michael non ha eguali. Ci siamo sentiti dal primo istante come se fossimo parte della loro famiglia. Pulizia dello studios impeccabile, con cambio di lenzuola e asciugami a metà settimana. La vista è da togliere il fiato ed è un'ottima posizione per non soffrire il caldo della città, la sera abbiamo dormito con la coperta!! Abbiamo lasciato un pezzetto di cuore a Skiathos, ma soprattutto a Vicky e Michael! Noi contiamo di tornarci presto!!
