I don’t realise this at the time trying to find the ibis but Novotel staff made me feel incredibly welcome. And the 24 hour shuttle service is outstanding.

Located 5 km from Darwin CBD and 7 km from Darwin Airport, is Darwin Resort. The refurbished resort offers modern air-conditioned rooms with an LCD TV, fridge and tea/coffee-making facilities. I was in room 17 it seems to be newly renovated It was really nice, clean A little noisy because the rd is right outside my door but I had earplugs so it was fine.
