Nyngan is a place that we usually just drive through on our way to the Mid North Coast of NSW. But on this occasion we were coming from QLD & stopped in Nyngan. I looked online just an hour or so before arriving there and managed to book a room at the Alamo. We were just up the road from the Supermarket and around the corner from the Aussie Hotel, where we had dinner. Lovely pub with great food. We used the car wash and filled up with petrol. Lovely town with lovely people.Guest review bylisannelleryAustralia - 8.0

You need at least three nights to visit and experience this town/area properly. I only stopped here as my travels/progress back to Adelaide were delayed due to floods in Qld, however, I am now open to coming back here to use the Perrington Estate and Nyngan as a base to explore the wider region.Guest review byAndrewAustralia - 10.0
favourite spot was Nyngan Bowling club.
favourite spot was Nyngan Bowling club. $6.20 beer and on a Wednesday night a great special for $13 in the same place. Locals are very friendly as well and make you feel welcome. I I had arrived early enough and not tired from driving in the rain for nearly 6 hours, then I would of keto have seen the local Museum showing the history of the area especially Cobb and Co companyGuest review byJasonAustralia
