The property includes so many extras that I did not get to take advantage of- if I had company I would have loved to have a bonfire in the campfire area that is set up so thoughtfully . From the welcome sign and bowl of fruit on the counter to the host Sybille meeting me and explaining that I should check out the walk to the dam (which was a lovely walk)- her friendliness was so heartwarming and greatly appreciated. I've always wanted to stay in a tiny home and this was better than I could have ever expected.

Three big bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room, plus an upstairs with a big table and a patio where we could watch birds and the occasional mammal. The food was great, huge portions or big buffet. It’s on a part of the game reserve with no dangerous animals so you can walk around safely. We saw ostriches, antelopes, hyrax and hare while walking or looking out our window. It’s part of a nonprofit that’s working to preserve and protect animals while working with the local community. We did the “Behind the scenes tour” which was really interesting and fun, loved the baboon walk! Really glad we stayed here!

Chris and Chrisna were the perfect hosts and so welcoming - they waited for us for dinner even though we arrived at 9pm. We enjoyed a wonderful meal with them with so many laughs and had a fabulous nights sleep. A lovely breakfast was ready for us in the fridge when we woke up - the appartment was extremely private and quiet, with an incredible view. The house is in a gated estate and feels very safe.
