The property was clean and well equipped. We were able to relax and make dinner. We had an early flight out from Alesund and it was perfect to stay only 6 minutes from the airport!

Iris (the hostess) is a very nice and thoughtful lady and always made sure I felt welcomed and comfortable 😊. Also the area is really beautiful and peaceful, a bit isolated but there's a supermarket and a beautiful beach nearby and the airport is 6 min away by car. Just keep in mind that public transportation is not as frequent on weekends as on other days. I totally recommend this property for a long or short peaceful getaway 🦋

Situated by the sea on Valderøy Island, these apartments are 10 km from central Ålesund. All include free Wi-Fi access and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. We stayed in Apartment 3. The apartment was amazing with an ocean view. Hosts were very kind and attentive. Kitchen with a dishwasher, stove, oven and fridge. Kitchen adequately equipped to cook simple meals. Bed was very comfortable. Roomy with an eating area and a lounging area. The sunsets were fantastic. There is a small patio area in front to watch the ocean. And a lovely wak along the rocky shore.

The parking outside the suite is ample, and quite convenient when one is arriving or departing. The kitchen area is very well equipped, and it was easy to make coffee, tea, and any meals. There are grocery stores within walking distance, or by a short bus-ride. A nearby thrift shop called “Brukt og Nyttig” has a treasure trove of interesting finds. Walking and cycling opportunities are close by, and one can easily enjoy the island’s shoreline.
