Eventhough for some it seems like walking distance, I do not recommend this on arrival, especially if your flight is late and it is dark outside. Rather take one of the cabs as you may miss it as tge sign is facing the side not seen from the airport. Rooms are big and comfy with aircon working perfectly. Hot water was always available. Breakfast was simple, but sufficient and fresh. The highlight is definitelly the staff, that was really taking care and helping with our request. When the road to capital was closed due to bridge reconstruction, they even paid a motorbike to lead us the right way :)

VIP House-Praia Francesca ligger ved stranden i São Tomé og har en have og gratis wi-fi. Location right next to airport so very convenient for arrival. Common mini bus only costs 20 Dobras $1 so easy enough to get to town. Hosts are extremely nice and accommodating.

Residencial Aeroporto ligger i São Tomé, 5 minutters gang fra Lagarto Strand og mindre end 1 km fra Praia Emília Strand, og har en bar. Dette hotel har 3 stjerner. Very conveniently located close to the airport with free shuttle. Nice clean rooms with air conditioning. Breakfast included.

Located by the beach on Sao Tome Island in the Gulf of Guinea, Omali Lodge provides elegant rooms and free WiFi access. Hard to find anything bad to say about this hotel - everything works well. The manager is very hands on and obviously well liked by her staff and it translates into an excellent experience throughout. There are copious common spaces to hand out and the rooms are spacious. The restaurant and bar were also good experiences. It was very convenient to. the airport and the airport transfers worked very well.

Ocean View Guesthouse ligger ved stranden i São Tomé og har en have. Pensionatet har gratis wi-fi samt gratis privat parkering. Location was wonderful. Laurindo took care of the transfers as it is impossible to use a rental car to get there, and took us, for a fee, to town for dinner one night. There was no charge for our transfer from and to the airport. Laurendino also took us to a supermarket before taking us to the Ocean View. One needs to get groceries. He also was kind to arrange two boat trips to Goat Island. We were lucky to have the whole Guesthouse including the kitchen for ourselves. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you, Laurendino!

Hos casa Luis i São Tomé er der udsigt til en have, en udendørs swimmingpool, en have, et fælles opholdsområde og en terrasse. This was a great place to start our holiday in Sao Tome. We wanted somewhere close to the airport and outside the city. Casa Luis delivered and also has a beautiful quiet garden to chill out, a pool to cool down in and clean rooms with air conditioning which makes it easier to get used to the heat in the night. The owner was really helpful, he arranged for someone to come and exchange our euros to the local dobras - and he even took care of our extra stuff when we went for a trip to Principe (only 16 kgs luggage allowed on the plane). He offered to have someone escort us to the restaurant the first day, but after understanding that the area was safe we politely declined and found our way using google maps. Thank you and we would visit again.

Paradise Agua Leve Residential ligger i São Tomé, 8 minutters gang fra Praia Emília Strand, og har en udendørs swimmingpool, et fælles opholdsområde og en bar samt gratis privat parkering. I found the stay very comfortable. The air conditioning was excellent and really helped with the heat. The breakfast was tasty, and the swimming pool was perfect for relaxing

Apartamento Vista Mar ligger 8 minutters gang fra Praia Emília Strand og tilbyder en have og et privat strandområde samt indkvartering med aircondition, gårdhave og gratis wi-fi. The host was there and he helped me move in, despite the language barrier. The location is great, everything is within walking distance and we felt safe, comfortable and it was clean.

Monteiro Paradise Guest House er et 4-stjernet overnatningssted der ligger ved stranden i São Tomé. Her er en have, fælles opholdsområde og terrasse. The guesthouse is a "perfect choice" with a great location, clean rooms, tasty food, and helpful owners. It's close to the beach and quiet. The view to the airport is stunning. I do recommend for families and also solo travellers who wish to come to this wonderful island. The owner has helped me with everything, from the tours with him, the free pick up and drop off at the airport, the best restaurants that he has taken me and so on.
