La Capeline fulfilled this requirement and more. Everyone here from personnel to residents are welcoming and friendly despite our extremely limited French language skills. Lovely amenities and a dream to be able to swim in a super clean, quiet, swimming pool. If you're looking for a good base to explore Dunkirk away from the busy centre La Capeline is perfect. Secure designated parking and Lidl store opposite to make life even easier. Would recommend Domitys to anyone looking for self contained accommodation in a nice safe, quiet environment. A recently renovated property, La vigie Malouine - Front de mer is located in Dunkerque near Plage de Marsouin et du Casino, LAAC Contemporary Art Museum and FRAC Contemporary Art Museum. The property features sea views and is 3.4 km from Dunkerque Train Station and 19 km from Plopsaland. Calais Railway Station is 47 km from the apartment and Belfry of the Saint-Eloi's Church, Dunkerque is 2.6 km away. This property is right on the boardwalk for the beach. The owner made the best of the view by putting the bed on a raised up platform. We loved relaxing on the bed taking in the incredible view. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay and is impeccably clean. The owner is friendly and sends good, clear communication.

The accommodation is non-smoking. We absolutely loved our stay at Le Tiki de Notre Dame! The apartment is located right in the heart of the old town of Boulogne-sur-Mer, directly next to the stunning Notre Dame cathedral – a truly unique setting. It’s peaceful yet central, with everything within walking distance: great restaurants, cafés, and beautiful walking/jogging paths on the old city walls. Our 9-year-old daughter adored her own little room under the roof with a magical view of the illuminated cathedral at night. The apartment is charmingly decorated with everything you need – cozy, practical, and full of character. A particular plus is the basic equipment in the kitchen. Nothing is more annoying than having to buy salt, pepper, oil etc. for two or three days. There’s a great view with full privacy and enough parking space right in front of the door – a big plus in the old town. Communication with our host Jeremy was super friendly and easy. We felt so at home we honestly didn’t want to leave. A full 10 out of 10! The kindness of the people in Boulogne-sur-Mer made our stay truly unforgettable. We'll definitely be back, as we haven't seen all the fantastic street art and murals the city has to offer.

It had everything we needed and was perfect for us 2 and 2 dogs. View and closeness to the beach was excellent. Bakery, pharmacy and little grocery store nearby for all your needs. Book it without second thought! The host Thierry is really helpful and accessible. Everything is just great with this apartment, it is close to the beach, well equipped kitchen. Keep in mind that stairs to the 2nd floor in the apartment is a bit steep but with our 2 little kids (4 years and 2 years old), it was not an issue. I also read that some people had difficulty for parking, we were lucky to park very close. It is all free on the street and plenty of parking, however it can indeed be busy during the weekends.
