Internet może nie śmigał (jak chyba wszędzie na wyspie), ale działał. Wokół duży i piękny ogród - mango spadają z drzew, koguty pieją :) Śniadanie można zjeść przy stoliku na zewnątrz w towarzystwie pojawiającego się regularnie kota. W nocy cisza i gwiazdy. Spało się bardzo dobrze, nie było gorąco. Do centrum jest kawałeczek drogi (chociaż malowniczej, wzdłuż oceanu), ale za to do stanowiska Ahu Tahai z posągami moai tylko 200 metrów. Jest to punkt widokowy na zachody słońca - i ma się go dosłownie pod bokiem (zdjęcie). Jest też obok mały spożywczy z podstawowymi artykułami.

Maria Hau was extremely friendly and the house is comfy and clean. Location is close to downtown and quiet at night. We accidentally left a water bottle on her car when she drove us to airport and she rushed to the airport and gave it back to us right before we were about to board - extremely helpful and we really appreciate the help!

The hotel's location is very central - on the main street with plenty of shops, supermarkets, bars, restaurants around and just 10 min walk from the airport. The venue is really beautiful with its own garden that idyllic and has many tropical fruit trees. The room was of decent size, very clean and comfortable with own balcony overlooking the garden. Plenty of common area space to relax with water available everywhere. We also appreciated the "Honesty Bar" where we could get any drinks or snacks on our own and just write down what we took that was billed at the check-out, including the Nespresso coffee. All the staff were very nice and welcoming, we also got the tour and some history of this hotel that was the very first accommodation many summers back. Many guests previously mentioned dogs on the streets and roosters in the morning, they did not bother us at all... after all, this is how the island is! The dogs are everywhere on Rapa Nui, not only on the street of the hotel and they are very friendly and relaxed. The roosters are more or less the same. The communication before the arrival was very useful with good advice and suggestions. The tours we booked with the hotel in advance also were great and had good value. Overall we definitely would recommend this hotel to stay at. The farewell gifts also found nice place in our home.

Set in Hanga Roa, Cabañas Moai is 200 metres from Hanga Roa Anthropological Museum. Tahai is 500 metres from the property. Free private parking is available on site. Spacious cabana with ocean view, walking distant to town, right next to Tahai sunset. Owner was extremely helpful and kind. I'll go back for sure!
