I visited Ureki with a group of friends in late May. Even though the sea was too cold to swim for long, at the resort the pool was open and the water is kept warm enough to swim. The rooms are beautiful. The entire resort is clean, and almost feels like you've left Georgia and entered Maryland. The staff are very kind and attentive - we were even able to get a crib in our room. We visited before the high season, so not all stores were open yet. However, when we needed something we were able to ask the staff to pick it up for us. The restaurant is a great touch; offering food & beverages at afordable prices. Most importantly, this is a great location, just a few mins from the beach. This is a great place for a fun vacay, we will be happy to stay again when we visit Ureki in the future.

Situato a Shekhvetili, a 38 km da Batumi, il Simple Pleasures Shekvetili offre un'area giochi per bambini e una terrazza solarium. Great value for the price. It is modern, clean, nicely designed, looks newly renovated. Beds are very comfortable, the views are great, there are pine trees in the front yard, playground in the back yard, balconies are quite spacious. Food in the restaurant is tasty, prices are average, waiters are a bit slow, but polite and helpful. They provide beach towels and beach chairs. Beach is 50 meters, across a very small road. Staff is helpful. Unlike in most other Georgian hotels on the Black sea coast, they clean rooms every day and change towels and sheets every three days, without any reminders or requests.

This was a really lovely spot from which to explore the Black Sea, without all the hassle of Batumi. It is small and feels like a secret place that only insiders know about. The family who runs the hotel is delightful, kind, and generous. The food at the hotel is very nice and reasonably priced. The sea is warm, calm and inviting - it’s the perfect place to spend a few days relaxing during an otherwise busy self-driving holiday.
