Die Pension wird von einer jungen Familie geführt, was die Spielsachen im Gartenbereich bezeugen. Dennoch war es überraschend ruhig, von den Kindern hat man rein gar nichts gehört. Auch das Frühstück war eine positive Überraschung, man bekam einen reichhaltigen und abwechslungsreichen Korb, liebevoll hingerichtet, zur Wunschzeit vor die Tür gestellt. Top!

Das Aran Islands Hotel auf Inis Mor verfügt über geräumige Zimmer mit Bad, teilweise mit Balkon und Blick auf die Kileaney Bay und den Kilronan Harbour. The hotel staff went above and beyond. I got a free upgrade into a chalet with a beautiful sea view. The pan fried sea bass I had for dinner was amazing. Everything was spotlessly clean and all the staff were great, particularly Joanna on reception who arranged for my phone charger to be put on the ferry to the mainland, after I left it in my room, and the hotel manager who took it down to the ferry port. Cannot fault this hotel, highly recommended.

From the moment we arrived soaked off the ferry (an amazing voyage during a storm and our own fault for standing outside in it) we were welcomed in and made to feel at home. The location is perfect for exploring the island, and my gosh how beautiful the island is. The hotel feels like it’s right at the heart of the community, so warm, fun and friendly. We shared a totally wonderful New Year’s Eve there! A truly special place run by amazing people.
