The property has lake and garden views, and is 45 km from Kirkjufoss. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Very clean and cozy lodge with a tranquil river view in front . The hostess of the lodge is so nice. We arrived late after the check in time and she waited for us. We didn’t have the time to have dinner before arriving but fortunately the hostess is very thoughtful and kept some pasta and sauce for sale so we didn’t have to go to bed hungry .

Activities such as skiing, cycling, walking tours can be enjoyed in the surroundings, and guests can relax along the beachfront. The bed and breakfast has a picnic area where you can spend a day out in the open. The room was amazing with very comfy beds. Nice interior in general, warm and welcoming. The baths were also amazing, clean and with lots of facilities. Overall it exceeded all our expectations, it was a very enjoyable stay!

The Icelandic Route 1 Highway passes right by the hotel. The staff were amazing to help us when we couldn't leave to our next destination due to a storm that close all the roads and gave us suggestions. The hotel is located across a craft beer bar, a small grocery and a restaurant. The breakfast is totally worth.
