A lot of kitchenwear, incl a good coffee machine, CDs, books, etc. The deck on the ocean is beautiful, at high tide we were regularly visited by a couole of Grey seals, but it was a nice spot to look at birds (Eiders with chicks, Artic terns, various gulls incl glaucous, redshank, starling, etc etc). The position is great to visit the central/western part of the peninsula.

To say we loved the apartment is an understatement. We felt so at home in the space, it was cosy, very thoughtfully appointed and had everything you need to be comfortable. Staff was very friendly and always available to answer questions. Instructions to access the property were clear. Propertie is just like in the pictures, and it's very clean. It's next to a gas station with a convenience store and food options, which makes it very convenient. Overall, it was an excellent stay.

This family run guesthouse sits scenically on the Snæfellsnes peninsula on Iceland’s western coast, and features views of the surrounding nature from all rooms, as well as free Wi-Fi. This place is absolutely fabulous. We unfortunately had terrible weather when we arrived here, and were even stuck there for an extra day. We had to rebook an extra day and the staff was absolutely welcoming. Our addition day was arranged and they also helped us plan the next stretch of our drive because of the weather conditions. We were a big fan of the breakfast here: just amazing! On the second day, we also tried their elaborate dinner, which was no short of a WOW. My wife and the rest of the family who joined us are vegetarians and they too had plenty of admirable options. So all in all: we enjoyed the stay a lot! Had the weather been a bit supportive, we would have had enjoyed even more…
