Beautiful views, excellent staff and we loved all the natural beauty of the property. Would stay again on my next visit to Omeptepe. The playa mangos bar and restaurant was wonderful and just a short walk away. We ate breakfast at La Sirenita up top on their covered deck and was delicious. Loved our casita, super comfortable and we slept better than ever. Can't wait to go back. I even had to take an online/interactive 3 hour class for continuing education, and the wifi was excellent the entire time. Sat on my deck overlooking Lake Nicaragua and had a fabulous Zoom class.

Situato a Moyogalpa, Rancho Tranquillo è una struttura fronte spiaggia a 34 km da Vulcano Maderas e prevede vari servizi, come un giardino e una terrazza. Immerso nella natura, un tramonto fantastico proprio di fronte al Rancho, il canto degli uccelli che fa da colonna sonora nelle giornate, i proprietari sono simpatici e gentilissimi e sempre disponibili, è stato davvero bello passare il mio soggiorno in questo posto immerso nella natura!! Se cerchi un posto dove poterti rilassare e disconnettere da tutto quanto è il posto perfetto!!!

El Bamboo Cabins si trova a Balgue e mette a disposizione il WiFi gratuito, un giardino con terrazza e la vista sul lago. C’è un parcheggio privato disponibile sul posto. Everything! The view was nice, the bed was perfect, everything was well made, kind staff were really helpful and always answering, the kitchen was perfect even a fridge!

È il posto ideale dove rilassarsi lontano da tutto e godere della bellezza dell'isola. Delfa la cuoca è dolcissima, super disponibile e prepara dei piatti vegetariani buonissimi. Non vedo l'ora di ritornarci.

The location is fantastic, right on the shore of the lake and at the same time just a minute walk from the main road and restaurants in Balgue. The owner is very kind and knowledgeable too. There is a functional kitchen, two hammocks, chairs for the shore, candles for the night, and kitchenware too. Really has everything you need.

Hospedaje Bananas offre la vista sul giardino ad Altagracia e dispone di ristorante, cucina in comune, bar, giardino e terrazza. Il WiFi gratuito è in dotazione in tutta la struttura. Bananas was great, I highly recommend it, would stay there again.

Situato a Balgue, a 12 km da Vulcano Maderas, Hostal Así es mi Tierra prevede un giardino, un parcheggio privato gratuito e una terrazza. We loved the relaxed vibe and how everything is set up and decorated, it's really really beautiful and we enjoyed just sitting around on our porch immensely! the location is great as it's away from the crazy hostel stuff but not too far with tons of great local places near by. Getting to all parts of the island from Balgue was ideal as well and everywhere you turn you see one of the volcanoes since you're right in between them. If you turn right from the place you get back into the main hostel area in a few minutes (on bike) and if you turn left you find really beautiful roadways and scenery and you can get away from all the "traveler" stuff. Cafe compestre is just down the street (2 min walking) where you can get a really really good cappuccino. My boyfriend also got a haircut across the street haha. The food they made us was so so so good (our favorite if we HAD to pick was probably the burritos, and they make some of the best smoothies on the island). we were also able to get our moto bike and kayaking through the family as well, and everything was a really good price and easy. On day 4 or so we found a hole in the tire which they fixed in just a couple hours and they didn't charge us which we really appreciated. There was a power outage one evening (it happens on the island from time to time) and they set us up with a candlelit dinner and we just loved that (picture below). The family who owns this are truly wonderful people and we felt really at home, possibly too at home as we were supposed to stay 5 nights and we stayed 9 or 10 😂. I usually got up early and worked a few hours in the balcony seating area with a coffee or smoothie, so can confirm working here is also no problem. For context, I was working fully online building a webpage with large files so internet needed to be really functioning well, and it was :)

Everyone at the hotel was super nice and helpful to us, specially Carlos which we had the chance to share some time with him. The room was nice, the AC was working smoothly and almost noiseless, the shower had hot and cold water with a good amount of water and the hotel itself was feeling really peaceful, with a nice garden area with some chickens around. To us, after some days in cabins and eco houses, having nice walls and some crystal windows was what we were looking for. The lake is just at one side and you can see it while having breakfast, which by the way is pretty good. The place is close to some interest points of the island. I can only recommend the place.

Posizionato a Santa Cruz, a 800 metri da Spiaggia di Santo Domingo, Hotel Restaurante Los Cocos mette a disposizione un giardino, un parcheggio privato gratuito, una sala comune e una terrazza. I booked with incorrect dates and the owners was so nice to offer us a family room, that saved our stay. The restaurants breakfast was amazing.

Ubicato a Ometepe, a 3,6 km da Vulcano Maderas, Caballito's Mar propone un ristorante, un parcheggio privato gratuito e un bar. Fantastic location, great staff and great food. A massive thanks for organising also our volcano hike!
