The atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming, and the location – close to the lake and surrounded by nature – made it the perfect place to relax. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to make sure I felt at home. They helped me arrange local activities and transport, and gave great recommendations for places to visit nearby. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. I especially enjoyed the outdoor spaces – perfect for watching sunsets or enjoying a quiet morning coffee. The food was fresh and tasty. I would definitely recommend De Rain Hostel to anyone looking for a calm, authentic, and affordable place to stay in Uganda. I hope to return one day! Set in Entebbe, K Hotels Entebbe is 450 metres from Four Turkeys. The property is situated 1 km from Entebbe Pier. International, European and Indian dishes are served at the in-house restaurant. The staff were super welcoming from start to finish. Our stay felt very relaxing, and there was always staff available to help, guide or inform. The rooms were clean, and the food service was excellent. My experience of the rooftop is one to cherish for a lifetime, from the moonlit view of Lake Victoria, to the very energetic traditional dancers and the food options and taste of the amazing Friday night Mongolian Barbecue!
