Situated in Launceston, 2.1 km from Queen Victoria Museum and 2.6 km from Boags Brewery, The Dragonfly Inn features accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning, a shared lounge and a garden. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Every single detail of the Dragonfly is perfect. Particularly loooooved the detailed instructions down to the usage of the electric hardboiled egg maker thing and the port socials! Will definitely stay at the Dragonfly the next time we find ourselves in Launceston.

This place has self check-in which is very convenient. We texted upon arrival since we were a bit earlier than initially mentioned and got all the necessary details almost immediate. The room and bathroom were spacious and there was Netflix which is perfect during the colder winter evenings. The hotel was very quiet and relaxed so we felt really at home. The location is great as you can easily walk to Cataract Gorge from there and it's close to bars, restaurants, shops, ...

Built in the 1840s, the refurbished Comfort Inn The Pier Hotel offers a private beach area, a bar and a restaurant. All rooms offer sea views and a flat-screen TV. We loved the location right on the river. We could walk into town along the riverbank. We had dinner at the hotel - very good. Room was spacious and comfortable.
