This was one of our multiple stays in Costa Rica, and we were truly impressed. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped. Above all, the Refugio concept — which includes a beautiful café and a cozy bar offering excellent food and drinks — truly exceeded our expectations. Unlike at other accommodations, we didn't have to eat Gallo Pinto for breakfast every day, but could instead choose from a wide variety of delicious brunch options directly from the restaurant/bar. The staff were friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed — from arranging surf lessons to recommending great local restaurants. We were mainly in touch with Augustin, who took excellent care of us. Overall, we were delighted with our stay and can highly recommend this place.

Palmetto Lodge está en Playa San Miguel y dispone de vistas al mar, piscina al aire libre, jardín, salón de uso común, terraza y bar. Fresh homemade excelent breakfast. Jam, bread, yoghurt, etc all made by the hosts in the morning and tasted wonderful. We were lucky and got to have Marcos homemade dinner which was a delightful experience. Wonderful inviting hosts. We really enjoyed our stay and hope we will be back some day!

La Ceiba Tree Lodge está en Tilarán y dispone de wifi gratis, jardín, terraza y restaurante. Catarata La Fortuna está a 41 km del alojamiento, y Cavernas de Venado está a 17 km. Excelente ubicación, vista al lago, en medio de la naturaleza, un oasis de paz, instalaciones muy lindas y cómodas. Perfecto para desconectarse del ruido de la ciudad y conectar con la naturaleza. Pudimos ver muchos tipos de aves y hasta un venado. El anfitrión muy amable, nos dió buenas referencias de dónde cebar y el desayuno exquisito.

The room was wonderful, the presentation of the bed looked so nice I didn’t want to mess it up! It was quiet, location is great, nice view, short walk to the beach. Owner and staff were very friendly, breakfast was delicious. Nice semi personal patio and hammock outside although it was too hot outside to use. Lines to hang clothes to dry. Shower pressure was fantastic. I also took a horseback ride through the beach and jungle and it was the all time best ride I’ve ever had. It was called Horses Paradise, Playa Carrillo and my guide picked me up at the hotel with my horse.

Baliyana Lodge se encuentra en San José Pinilla y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, aire acondicionado y acceso a un jardín con terraza. También se ofrece nevera, además de cafetera y hervidor. Preciosa vista y los dueños se ve que se esmeran en cada detalle, el desayuno muy rico y todo muy bien presentado.

Casa del Sol está en Tamarindo, a pocos pasos de Playa Tamarindo, y tiene jardín, habitaciones libres de humo y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. La ubicación estaba todo cerca, en particular la playa porque ese fue el principal objetivo en Tamarindo.

Everything. Des hôtes professionnels, gentils, attentionnés, by far far far the best night and day we had in costa rica. You will feel like home and in the heart of costa rica at the same time. Trully amazing breakfast and room/house. Everything is well tought, i am sure this is the best place to stai in whole costa rica, all that for a very modest price. Un magnifique quartier paisible et sécuritaire avec de bons restaurants. Je recommande la Casa Donna Rosa pour tout le monde !
