This old farmhouse is now surrounded by modern housing, but still retains its charm and space. Our top floor room (reached by a comfortable staircase) was spacious with a large separate bathroom. The hosts recommended another converted barn for dinner close by, and it was excellent. Breakfast was served in the old sitting rooms and was good. There is plenty of private parking on the grounds.

Had everything we needed and water and fruit juice in the fridge was a nice touch. We would have liked ‘proper’ mugs as the small tea cups are too hot to hold when filled with hot drinks so we bought two and left them in the cupboard. Superb value and superior to most hotel rooms.

Ottima struttura ben tenuta e con accoglienza perfetta. Violaine ci ha accolto benissimo e dato tutte le informazioni per raggiungere la struttura. La location è molto pittoresca e ben ristrutturata. Si respira un'aria di antico e grande charme. Colazione ottima e calma ovunque

Non abbiamo usufruito della piscina ma è spaziosa. Peccato essere rimasti una sola notte.

The welcome was very warm, relaxed and friendly. The room and bathroom are huge!!! Very clean, comfortable and well equipped...and the modern very efficient air-conditioning was so welcome as it was very hot! It is in a very quiet residential area...very peaceful. Our hosts reccomended several local restaurants in nearby Ussel for our evening meal, we chose Café Ventadour in the old square, and had an excellent meal in a lovely relaxed atmosphere.
