Fiona, James, and their pets were as inviting as they come. We felt like family for the evening. The breakfast was divine. Everything about this property blew us away and the price was quite reasonable as well.

The Ancient Briton, que cuenta con jardín, restaurante, bar y wifi gratis, se encuentra en Pen-y-cae, a 30 km de Grand Theatre y a 29 km de Cathedral Church of St Joseph. The Ancient Briton was one of the best B&Bs we stayed at during our 2.5-week trip through the UK. The staff, rooms, food, and overall atmosphere exceeded our expectations. The building is old but tastefully refurbished. While some stairways are narrow and dim (a bit of a challenge with luggage), the rooms were comfortable, well-equipped, and even featured unique plaster ceiling designs that gave them real character. The staff was outstanding. The woman who managed breakfast each morning (I wish I remembered her name) was especially wonderful—warm, attentive, and full of local tips. Thanks to her, we discovered the Red Kite Feeding Station in Llanddeusant, which turned out to be a highlight of our trip. The pub downstairs is lively and welcoming, with excellent food and a friendly mix of locals. It does get busy in the evenings, but even as a party of six, we were always accommodated.

Ty Newydd was the perfect stay for a visit to the Brecon Beacons. Breakfast was wholesome and set us up perfectly for the day! It was clean and cosy. The location of it is so perfect too :) was a really lovely stay. Highly recommend.
