I particularly enjoyed the glassed-in patio area for a morning coffee and a read. It is very quiet and feels like being in the country. Well-equipped kitchen. Also has several small areas to prepare food or coffee/tea. This would be a great place to have a family reunion and book the whole place.

The property itself was very well kept, I would say the pictures do it no Justice. I was pleasantly surprised to see how nicely decored the rooms were. Me and my partner would recommend this place to anyone. I found the rooms slightly smaller than most places but the cleanliness/decor and kitchenette certainly made up for it.

It was a wonderful stay from the moment you arrive through the gate, go along the drive passing rhododendron and camelia on either side. Then approach the house and park up outside the front and look out over the garden across a small valley. It has a special feeling, to return (home) back to such accommodation at the end of each day after visiting the surrounding area. The inside of the house will not disappoint in its history and comfort, along with the friendliness and helpfulness of the hosts, Lucy and George. Thank you. A very comfortable, friendly, historic, family home.
