It is a school turned to a hostel in a very convenient location for the Nakasendo trail trekkers. In our experience the staff was very helpful and the other guests were very respectful and quiet. We slept like babies! Very comfortable single beds and they offered extra blankets. They offer suggestions for dinner in the village but in case of emergency there are also snacks and instant noodles sold there. Anyone can use the kitchen facilities too! Also the gym of the high school is open to use :) Clean toilets and showers!

La camera in stile giapponese era bellissima e grandissima! La onsen privata era incredibile!! Starei giorni solo per stare all’hotel!

Effective October 1, 2025, a lodging tax will be introduced by ordinance of Takayama City. In addition to the room charge, 100 yen per person per day will be charged. We were extremely happy about our stay . Very spacious room, comfortable beds . The common spaces are very spacious and cozy. The location is great to walk to the center.

Ubicato a 21 km da Comprensorio Sciistico Ryuoo e 32 km da Parco delle Scimmie di Jigokudani, Snow Palace Nozawa propone camere a Nozawa Onsen. We had an amazing stay. The property is beautiful with a great common room and kitchen with stunning views. The rooms are comfortable and all facilities are absolutely immaculately clean. The staff were a true highlight of the stay. they were all so incredibly friendly and helpful. Everything was just great and we plan to return next season.

Amazing place to stay in Hakuba: comfortable beds, clean, just renovated beautiful place, cosy fireplace, amazing food & the best staff. It's a 10 min drive from hakuba centre and the main ski slopes but they provide a handy shuttle service. After skiing, they brought us to a beautiful onsen in the mountains to relax.

We stayed here while visiting the Japanese Alps. Atsu was really friendly and helped us out a lot. We had to check in a bit later due to delays and also had a last minute diner during our stay. The room was spacious and the breakfast delicious. Really good curry, and was able to accommodate my wife with a gluten free meal for her (celiac). And we also got some really good advice for food for our next stay :). Thanks Atsu!
