La J-Hoppers Kumano Yunomine Guesthouse si trova a Hongu, a 10 minuti d'auto o a 70 minuti a piedi attraverso il percorso del pellegrinaggio Kumano Kodo dal gran tempio Kumano Hongu Taisha. This was the best value for money stay I had this trip. Highly recommend opting for dinner to be included with your stay. The steamed vegetables and meat with rice and soup was a sumptuous, healthy yet delicious meal especially at the end of a day's big hike. The dorm beds were comfortable, and it was a really nice luxury to get a private onsen experience (especially the outdoor one). Though there was no convenience store around, the hostel has a very good range of snacks, instant noodles, buns at good prices so you don't have to worry about not having food around.

Situato in una posizione ideale, a soli 10 minuti a piedi dall'iconico Tempio Kiyomizu-dera. La Guesthouse Soi propone varie sistemazioni, tra cui camere private in stile giapponese e dormitori. We loved the place. Very well placed, only a 5min walk from the Gion area and many temples. The owners are the nicest people, and gave us a lot of help on our trip. They also have a bike rental for 600Y per day which was very handy. The free breakfast they give is great and we also had the japanese breakfast one day which we loved. The room was spacious and very nice, with great air conditioning and nice futons. We also used the laundring service. We loved the place and highlt recommend it

The location was excellent, close to the station, and some important landmarks were about a 10-minute walk away. The room was spacious and very clean. We definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

The house itself is beautiful Japanese classic house, however all facilities are modern and clean!!! Down town and Hayatama shrine are located in really walkable distance from the guest house.

Ubicato a Chikatsuyu, a 300 metri da Kumanokodo Nakahechi Museum of Art, NONAGASE GUEST HOUSE propone un giardino, un parcheggio privato gratuito, un ristorante e un bar. This was the most wonderful stay I have experienced. I stayed here whilst I did the Kumano Kodo. I loved the style of the building. The location was great for the walk itself as a half way point. You feel exhausted after that first day and this is a great place to stay to rest and recoup. The welcome drink was very welcomed and we enjoyed it in the lovely garden. The room its self was plush and so comfortable. Hitomi and Omry did everything to make this the most comfortable and enjoyable stay. I don’t even know where to start with the meal, you must book the dinner, breakfast and lunch. It was definitely at the maximum end of my budget to do this but I will never forget the experience. Me and my friend shared a 5 course dinner, all courses were oishi (delicious) and so perfectly presented. Even now 2 months later I can remember the dinner and the flavours and how it made me feel. The packed lunch the next day was perfect fuel for the walk. Great shower to rinse off from the day as well and lovely living room area.

Shionome house si trova a Ikoma, a 7,2 km da Iwafune Shrine e 10 km da Nozaki Kannon Shrine. Prevede alloggi climatizzati con WiFi gratuito, un giardino e una terrazza. I loved it there, it felt like home. Both of them were very nice, I don’t know a lot of Japanese but we still managed to talk on Japanese and English and they were so lovely! We found some same interests that we all liked so it was even easier to talk. Really really nice owners. You can also meet a lot of other people there from all around the world and I personally didn’t mind waiting for the bathroom. Breakfast was very delicious and always different! I really can’t say anything bad maybe my best stay in Japan until now and will try to come back again and see how my new friends are doing. You can rent towels or a toothbrush or bring your own. I felt like home and wish i stayed longer. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Shared kitchen, microwave, kettle etc so you can self-cater with food from supermarket (next door). Very comfortable rooms with Japanese style bedding - new build so everything clean and modern. Hostess is lovely and communicates through a language translation app.
