The location was extremely convenient, very close to the beach and to the delicious restaurants in the area. A 2 min walk to the main road to find a Tuk Tuk to anywhere. We had a great time, great value for money!

Justin went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble and his English, cooking skills and stories are great. He’s such an asset to the business. The room was clean and comfortable with a small fridge. It’s about a 10min walk to the beach which is very popular with Sri Lankans on the weekends. Lots of small home restaurants to eat at and small shop over the road with a beautiful family running it.

We had a wonderful stay at this small, family-run guesthouse. The family is incredibly friendly and always ready to help with tips and recommendations for the area. The location is perfect – just two small streets away from the beach, with a clear view of the ocean. The rooms are spotless and well taken care of. Overall, amazing value for money – we highly recommend staying here!

Hilton Cottage se află în Trincomalee, la 6,5 km de Kali Kovil și la 7 km de Gokana Temple. I had an amazing two-week stay! The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The homeowners are truly lovely — caring, attentive, and always there if needed, yet never intrusive. As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe and at home. The owner even arranged for a trusted friend to pick me up from the airport — such a thoughtful gesture which I appreciate a lot! The shared terrace and patio are very nice for relaxing. The location is fantastic: the beach is just 2 minutes away, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. I felt so comfortable and welcomed throughout my stay - truly a place I would recommend to everyone! Thank you so much for everything!

The host Rangan was so lovely and went out of his way to make the guests experience the best it could be. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the location super close to the beach, restaurants and bus stops. Rangan went out of his way to drop me into the neighbouring town of Trincomalee with no extra charge and when he heard that myself and another guest had not tried milk rice he cooked it for us for breakfast the following morning. Would definitely recommend and will return if I’m back in Sri Lanka.

It's right on the beach! And during the time we were there, the beach to the left and to the right from the hotel was deserted. There are only a few rooms at the hotel and guests would leave somewhere and at times it felt like we had our own private beach just for two of us! Also having breakfast and dining there is so great, because again your doing it right on the beach, so the scenery and the sounds of waves are perfect. I live how they have us so many different traditional Sri-Lankan side dishes to our order. The bungalows are located far from the main road, so you only hear the sound of waves and nothing else. Very nice owners and staff - they helped us with luggage both during check-in and check-out and did it out of genuine hospitality, not like most places in the world where they help you with luggage and stay there wait for tips. Really great place, very romantic, I hope we'll be able to come back to Sri-Lanka again and stay at these Bungalows!
