Great and extremely friendly and welcoming host, amazing breakfast, nice pool in the backyard, very good recommendations for restaurants etc. Almost being a part of the family. Was supplied with water,milk, cookies and fruit during my 2 nights there. Central Maputo, ATM, Restaurants, views of the Bay is all in walking distance in a safe area. Not as private as a hotel, but not like a backpackers. More like a good mixture between private rooms and easy possibilities around the pool for breakfast to meet others.

With an outdoor pool and a garden, GuestHouse 1109 is located in the centre of Maputo, 20 minutes’ walk from the beach. It offers on suite accommodation and free WiFi throughout. Very well run, staff were excellent and the rooms very comfortable.
