Take a trip on a Sunday morning to one of the local churches to listen to the harmonious Polynesian Choirs, it's incredible. Perfect sea in every possible shade of blue, soft white sand beaches and amongst some of the most amazing dive sites on planet earth. Napoleon Wrasse, Eagle Rays and Hawksbill Turtles, The reef system will stay etched in my mind forever. Perfect for solo travellers wanting to meet like minded people and wishing to get away from the more touristy side of the Pacific, Aitutaki Budget Accommodation is the only place to go! Can't wait to go back!

Katrina the daughter of the owners was absolutely unbelievable. There was a few technical issues when we arrived and she had them all sorted with a personal visit. She even took us to the shop to get some groceries, beautiful beautiful place to stay immaculate grounds out the front. There’s a swimming hole channel that’s just a few hundred metres up the beach overall could not fault. Across the road there is a fantastic little coffee shop for breakfast and they do lovely Asian food for dinner. Had the best sausage roll ever. Not really recommend this location and property.

The cool sea breeze and the thoughtful layout of the house ensured we were always comfortable. It’s clear that Vaa and Joliene have put great effort into making Are Kapakapa a home away from home for their guests. Another highlight of our stay was exploring the fruit trees around the property. The coconuts were a delightful treat, perfect for a refreshing snack after spending time at the beach.
