Set in Épernay, near Moët et Chandon House, Mercier Champagne House and Georges Cartier Champagne House, La Petalerie features free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a bar and a garden. Jean-Luc is a great host, very welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious, very tastefully decorated and spotless, with everything we needed. We particularly enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful garden. And the breakfast was delicious - plentiful with delicious fresh bread and pastries, coffee, eggs, cheese, ham etc etc. Good also that we were able to park for free in the street very nearby and that La Petalerie is within walking distance of the town and many champagne houses.

It was delightful. France and Cyril are exceptional hosts. As I was travelling on a Sunday they offered an evening meal, a delicious chicken and ham croute with salad and home grown tomatoes, a cheese platter and then an ice cream of home grown raspberries! Breakfast was as good, including the home made brioche and plum jam. The room was beautifully decorated and very functional, with a small terrace outside and a second, covered, comfortable seating area. Secure parking on their property. I cannot recommend it too highly (and will definitely be staying again!) Thank you both!
