This is the biggest surprise of my Indonesia trip! This place located in a small town near Malang. It runs by a family and Mrs. Mary took 2 of her independent rooms as hotel. There is super nice mountain view and the whole atmosphere is sooo chill. The room is quite big. The host even gave us some passion fruits and papaya grown from their farm. It is not far from Mt. Bromo and Tumpak Sewu - both takes 1.5h to drive there. There are hardly any tourists in this small town and when we were walking to a restaurant, the people were so curious and greeting us friendly, the kids on the street waved to us and say hello. It was such an amazing experience! The sunset of with rice field view in the small town is also really really beautiful. There is also a good and modern restaurant 20 min walk from our stay and it is designed to see the sunset with a big balcony, the food is very nice too

Terletak 36km dari Mount Lamongan, Brak Homestay mempunyai penginapan dengan WiFi percuma dan tempat parking peribadi percuma. Great place and location. The owner is friendly and helpful with tips. He even picked me up from the train station. The room is comfortable and clean, but simple. I don't mind. The internet is so-so. You need to link to another WiFi to have good internet.

The owner and staff is super organised, attentive and helpful. They organised transport to pick us up promptly at the fast ferry and drove us all the way to the Turtle Lodge. We had activities they planned each day such as seeing a waterfall at Green Bay Beach. The turtle overnight watch we signed up for was incredible located inside the national park. My son loved releasing tiny turtles to the sea and we saw how the Green Sea turtles nested.

The breakfast they provided was very tasty and they even changed it up for us, so that we could taste different dishes that are typical for the region. I had a really relaxing stay here :)

Great staff, the rooms were clean and worth the price. They helped with booking trips and also managed to solve all problems that arose.

He stayed up late for our arrival, made delicious breakfast and offered us so much tea & coffee. He even went above & beyond by making his guests who booked the Ijen tour coffee & fried bananas for 2am prior to leaving! The room is also so clean and the bed super comfortable, such good value and a gem of a Homestay.

Harry was awesome, super friendly and knew where to surf and when to surf. Got me sorted with a board and a surf rack for a great price!

We stayed here for one night to visit the Ijen volcano early in the morning. Everything was perfect: just amazing hosts , clean and nice decorated room, delicious breakfast, beautiful area. Our only regret is that we didn’t have enough time to spend there. Thank you very much.
