Staff were so friendly and happy to chat. The breakfast was yummy and generous. There was great thought and detail put into the decoration of the place to make it bright, inviting and quite posh looking. The room was large for the three of us (adults). There is a local pub down the road about 200 metres away and had a friendly atmosphere and a live Irish Band. Seriously, this place is worth visiting.

In the County Clare town of Ennistymon, Station House Bed & Breakfast is around 14km from western Ireland’s impressive Cliffs of Moher. Nicky as a host was great and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious and made to meet our expectations.

Situated in Newtown, 5 minutes’ drive from Ballyvaughan and Galway Bay, The Waters Country House boasts over 40 acres of farmland at the foot of the Burren Hills. We stayed at The Waters Country House during our trip through the Irish countryside and it was like stepping into a fairytale. The house is absolutely stunning—full of charm and character. Our host, Wolfgang, was very kind and attentive, making us feel truly welcome. Breakfast was delicious and served in a beautiful setting with unique furniture and warm lighting, creating a peaceful atmosphere. We also recommend booking a table at Monks restaurant nearby—local taxi drivers make it easy to get there without a car. A very special place we’d love to return to!

We liked the large room with two comfortable beds. The refrigerator and microwave were just what we needed for our simple meals. The sunset out our window was gorgeous and added to the beautiful view. Mary Rose was very welcoming.

The stars covered the evening sky! I was able to see the persius meteor shower clearly!! Also an excellent breakfast and short access to the cliffs of moher.
