Το Náttúra Yurtel έχει θέα στο βουνό, δωρεάν WiFi και δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης. Είναι σε Haukadalur και απέχει 4 χλμ από Geysir. Επίσης, προσφέρονται ψυγείο και ηλεκτρικός βραστήρας. The yurt was fantastic. It was 10 times the value of a hotel or the like in the area. It was -15 outside and we were toasty in the yurt. The beds were the best I slept on in the country. The breakfast was good and checked all the boxes. I selfishly wanted more omelets/waffle hot bar options, but the breakfast was beyond good, and this was one of very few places that actually included breakfast with the hotel, so I will give their breakfast a 10/10 as well. Location was perfect too for both Aurora Viewing (we saw a massive aurora on 11/22/24) and we were right next to Geysir and waterfalls. We could see the glacier from the front porch. Very private yurts too! My pictures are of the aurora we saw from the front door of the Yurt. You can easily see them from these. I also included an indoor picture and one of the grounds.

Το Árbakki Farmhouse Lodge προσφέρει καταλύματα με δωρεάν WiFi, κήπο με βεράντα, θέα στο βουνό, καθώς και πρόσβαση σε υδρομασάζ και ιαματικά λουτρά. The place is just amazing. A beautiful house in a surrounded by trees. Fully equipped kitchen. Families were cooking dinner as if they were in their home. Buffet breakfast was simple but delicious! We wish we could stay for more than just one night!

This hotel is set on a farm within the Golden Circle Region, 15 minutes’ drive from Gulfoss Waterfall and Geysir hot water springs. Everything was just great. Location, staff, food, cleanness. Thanks, we will be back.

Το Backyard Village προσφέρει καταλύματα με δωρεάν WiFi, κήπο με βεράντα, θέα στον κήπο, καθώς και πρόσβαση σε σάουνα και υδρομασάζ. We loved everything about this cabin. We were in the Turquoise cabin. The location was the perfect base for exploring the Golden Circle and the neighbouring Selfoss. It was also convenient to Keflavik Airport as well as Reykjavik. In the town, there are restaurants, cafes, bars, grocery shops and petrol stations if you just want to hang about the village. We walked to the brewery our first night - everything’s within a 10-15 minute walk. There’s also some hiking and thermal springs close by (we didn’t get to dip in the springs because we ran out of daylight). On to the property - it was like being home and living near a friendly neighbour. It felt very private and the cabin was very warm in freezing temperatures. (once we identified the one window that was left on breathe!) There was everything we needed for cooking/eating and the coffee machine was a bonus. There’s no cable TV, but that was perfectly fine - we just cosied up to some Netflix movies at the end of the day (when we weren’t in the sauna or hot tub). The bathroom was spacious and clean and soap, etc. was available, which was unexpected and handy. The bedroom was comfortable for the both of us. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we sleep like babies the entire stay. Our favourite parts of our stay were the sauna and hot tub. We enjoyed a couple of sauna sessions during our stay and spent a few nights in the hot tub. On our last night, we were slightly bummed that we didn’t see the northern lights and around the time we were thinking to get out, they appeared and put on the most beautiful show. We didn’t have our cameras, but it’s a memory that will live with us for a long time. Last, but not least, the hosts were incredible and friendly and available when we needed them. They were also very communicative before and during our stay. We’ve been considering a second trip when the weather improves, and if we’re down that way, we Weill certainly stay in the Backyard Village again.

Το Hólar countryside cabin 1 είναι στο Σέλφος. Σε απόσταση 39 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Ljósafoss, το κατάλυμα διαθέτει βεράντα και δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης. Το κατάλυμα έχει κουζίνα. This is a great little spot, very charming and peaceful.

Το Iceland Inn Cabin έχει θέα στο βουνό και διαθέτει βεράντα και αυλή. Το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Καταρράκτης Gullfoss είναι περίπου 48 χλμ μακριά. Very nice, comfortable and private house for yourself with super nice hot tub.

Το Minniborgir Cabins είναι σε Minni-Borg, σε απόσταση 39 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Geysir και προσφέρει καταλύματα με κήπο, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης, βεράντα και μπαρ. The location and the cabin. It was amazing! But the best thing for us was the owner, who was worried about us (we spent 2 nights during a weather red alert ). We really appreciated this!

Το Gljásteinn by Golden Circle έχει θέα στο βουνό και διαθέτει βεράντα και αυλή. Το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Geysir είναι περίπου 33 χλμ μακριά. Feel cozy, like-home, well-decorated and full kitchen-function with a lot of space, good location near golden circle but private, not too crowded. The owner was very nice and friendly.
