I proprietari sono stati disponibilissimi, camera accogliente e spaziosa, bagno grande e pulito con un ottimo riscaldamento, ci siamo trovati estremamente bene in questo posto dopo aver visto per la strade del parco nazionale l'aurora boreale. L'alloggio si trova davanti al lago Laugarvatn, la posizione è ottima per le attrazioni nella zona tra il parco nazionale Thingvellir, i geyser e la cascata Gullfoss.

The room was big, the location was beautiful! The breakfast was simple and delicious, the dining room is just gorgeous and it is available with the kitchen every evening (well equipped). The beds were the best thing :)

Breakfast was amazing, a lot of variety and really good. The staff was super nice. The beds very comfy and the shower pressure and temperature was perfect.

We loved everything about this cabin. We were in the Turquoise cabin. The location was the perfect base for exploring the Golden Circle and the neighbouring Selfoss. It was also convenient to Keflavik Airport as well as Reykjavik. In the town, there are restaurants, cafes, bars, grocery shops and petrol stations if you just want to hang about the village. We walked to the brewery our first night - everything’s within a 10-15 minute walk. There’s also some hiking and thermal springs close by (we didn’t get to dip in the springs because we ran out of daylight). On to the property - it was like being home and living near a friendly neighbour. It felt very private and the cabin was very warm in freezing temperatures. (once we identified the one window that was left on breathe!) There was everything we needed for cooking/eating and the coffee machine was a bonus. There’s no cable TV, but that was perfectly fine - we just cosied up to some Netflix movies at the end of the day (when we weren’t in the sauna or hot tub). The bathroom was spacious and clean and soap, etc. was available, which was unexpected and handy. The bedroom was comfortable for the both of us. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we sleep like babies the entire stay. Our favourite parts of our stay were the sauna and hot tub. We enjoyed a couple of sauna sessions during our stay and spent a few nights in the hot tub. On our last night, we were slightly bummed that we didn’t see the northern lights and around the time we were thinking to get out, they appeared and put on the most beautiful show. We didn’t have our cameras, but it’s a memory that will live with us for a long time. Last, but not least, the hosts were incredible and friendly and available when we needed them. They were also very communicative before and during our stay. We’ve been considering a second trip when the weather improves, and if we’re down that way, we Weill certainly stay in the Backyard Village again.

Hólar countryside cabin 1 si trova a Selfoss. Situata a 39 km da Ljósafoss, la struttura propone una terrazza e il parcheggio privato gratuito. Everything about this place was perfect! So cozy and after a long day of sight seeing with our son it was such a relief to arrive here. My only regret is not staying longer.

Con vista sul giardino, Iceland Inn Cabin propone un alloggio con patio e macchina da caffè, a circa 48 km da Cascata Gullfoss. La casa è stupenda. Ci sono tutti i servizi. Posizione buona immersa nel nulla per chi desidera pace e tranquillità. Il proprietario ci ha fornito via messaggi tutte le info e appena abbiamo chiesto qualcosa ci ha risposto. Casa calda, ben riscaldata (basta accendere i termosifoni presenti nelle stanze).

Posizionato a Minni-Borg, a 39 km da Geysir, Minniborgir Cabins mette a disposizione un giardino, un parcheggio privato gratuito, una terrazza e un ristorante. The cabin was spotlessly clean, well appointed, and very comfortable. The hot tub was such an enjoyable respite at the end of the day.
