All amenities were available. Check in instructions were clear. The host was very responsive whenever we reached out for any assistance. Although we did not check in early but they accommodated our request when we raised one. Kirkjufell's view from one of the rooms is just out of this world! Totally recommended. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Sæból/Ocean Lair se află în localitatea Grundarfjordur din regiunea Vesturland și are o grădină. We had an amazing time at the Ocean Lair. The place is very comfortable cozy, clean, and spacious. It even has a separate tv room equipped with a massage chair! Its location is very well situated, close to the main road and nearby facilities and tourist attractions especially near the Kirkjufell. The owner is super kind. I’d forgot my purse at the place and left for Reykjavik. I didn’t realize that I had left it there until I’ve reached the town and the owner massaged me. I was so upset and was tired from the driving. As it was my last leg of the two weeks road trip and I was about to catch the plane home the next morning so didn’t want to go back to get it. Even though I had my credit cards and some cash in my purse I was about to let them go and told the owner to please destroy the cards for me. The owner instead told me to hold on and give her time to ask around if anyone she knows is traveling to Reykjavik. I was so glad when she messaged me that her sister is visiting her daughter and would be happy to bring my purse with her and meet at an N1 gas station. I was super lucky that the owner was so nice and I felt very appreciative. It was very kind gesture and I don’t know if I’ve left my purse at some other places, I would get it back. So I would highly recommend this place. My time in Iceland was amazing and the trip ended perfectly with this place the it’s wonderful owner.

Saw whales from the deck. lots of space. comfortable clean beautiful decorations. Easy check in. Cute little town with lots of murals. Definitely check out The Freezer hostel. Great place to get away from it all.

This was best experience in Iceland first of all from hospitality point of view as well as history of the place, which hosts are proud to share. This has beecome an example of how heart, love to your country, strive for perfection can transform an old farm into super modern fascility reminding you of the history of the place. Not mentioning super views on fjord and complete tranquility and quietness of the place. The highlights: - welcome - story of the place, how the renovation happenned, introduction to the concept - all that makes you much better humanly connected compared to very convenient but very 'automatic' keys pick up via safe - design and concept - made by some famous local buroe there is a clear thinking behind. We were staying in what used to be garage and each room was named after a tracktor keeping the colors, i.e. John Deere will be green room, etc. - attention to details - great common area, living room, nice messages here and there, pizza to buy should you don't want to move etc. - great location - which with all honesty get us scared as you need to get to gravel road and drive couple of kilometers in the middle of nowhere, being rewarded by the view to die for - spotless.... just spotless:) - homemade specialties - caked and jam from the family, some other local food - advise on sight-seing highlights of Snæfellsnes Highly recommend!

I spent only one night at this guesthouse, but I had a really great time. The position is excellent in the middle of the town with a wide space where to park the car. The room was clean, cozy and had plenty of space; the same for the living room where you can just sit on the sofa or the armchair and enjoy the view. There are three bathrooms, two of them with a shower. The kitchen is fully equipped. Additionally, it was very easy to communicate with the host, who promptly gave instructions about the check-in. I highly recommend this place if you're travelling around Snæfellsnes.
