The view of sunset at the terrace of the hotel is nice. There is a big lunch pack for sell in a reasonable price. It contains banana, apple, orange, sandwich, water.

The host was very nice and helpful, he welcomed us very nicely and asked if everything was ok. We left early in the morning, he prepared lunch boxes for us for the road. The room was well-kept, clean and warm. Beautiful view from the terrace. I fully recommend!

Bader was a great host and went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed during my stay. Even made a lunch box for my days in Petra. Room was great also. Supermarket next door and plenty of restaurants nearby. I would highly recommend Plaza de Petra and would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

The place really looks like a cosy fort, and also with a beduin tent at the top. Our hosts were the kindest and most welcoming people we met so far in Jordan. They were always eager to help and did everything in their power so we can have our best vacation. The food was plenty and tasty.

This place is the best. I highly recommend staying here for your visit to Petra. They only have a few rooms, so they treat each of their guests like family. I highly recommend the dinner and the lunch boxes. It's about the same price or cheaper than what you find on the streets, but it is so much more convenient and peaceful. It is a short 10-minute walk from the Petra visitor center. Remember to bring JOD. They don't accept credit card, but there is an ATM by the visitor center. We have two kids under 12 and they both ate free! We wanted to start Petra at 6 AM, so they prepared our lunch boxes for us the night before so they'd be waiting for us on our way. This really helped us beat the heat and the crowds. Our family was able to hike all the way to the Treasury and the monastery before it got hot. Pro tip: If you want the dinner (which you do) you should let them know at least a couple of hours before you want it.
