We are very thankful to them for letting us store our luggage after our checkout for a couple of hours and they offered to drop us to the bus station aswelll. They are very kind. They have two goats aswell called ponyo and peo.

This is a wonderfull Little guesthouse, in a scenic location not too far from the train station. It is a bit of a walk on foot but easily accessible by taxi and the way to nearby Koyasan is very convenient by train. The owner is amazing as are the views and the guesthouse itself. I highly recommend it.

Modern, clean and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful hosts that create a warm and serene atmosphere. We tried both the western and Japanese breakfasts and loved both.

Το Yuzan apartment Sanjo, που προσφέρει δωρεάν WiFi, κλιματισμό, κήπο και βεράντα, βρίσκεται σε Nara. A lovely traditional building so close to the JR station. The house had beautiful wooden details, sliding doors, tatami mats and a private garden. There was a Japanese style bathroom, which we loved. It had air conditioning, fans and underfloor heating (which we didn’t use as it was hot!) There was shoyu, oil and seasoning in the kitchen, soap and toiletries for the bathroom. The owner was very kind, helpful and polite, and made us feel very welcome. Staying in the house was an experience in itself and it was lovely having somewhere so restful and homelike to return to after busy days. There is a convenience store literally around the corner which was very handy for milk, smoothies, pouches of fruit and snacks for the children. It is also close to the shopping area and other station - although we tended to use the JR station as we were travelling with a four year old with little legs!

The room is nice, met other nationalities which became friends as well. The owners are really nice, we always talk a lot while having my dinner. They fetched me on my first day as i was a bit lost and it was raining so hard. Looking forward to going back again soon.

It had one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in, and the floors were also amazing to walk on. Overall very very clean, and the ambiance was calm and soothing.

This is an amazing property and we loved staying in a traditional Japanese townhouse, in a quiet part of town. I was travelling with my husband and 3 adult children in early April. The location is great for walking into Nara (10-15 mins). We arrived in the evening and it was lovely that our host had put the heating on for us and it was easy to retrieve the keys from the key safe. It was a bonus to find there are 2 toilets and 2 hand washing basins in the property. We all agreed that the shower is the most powerful shower we have ever come across - amazing. All the beds were large doubles and very comfortable. We stayed for 4 nights and our host had left lots of extra towels for us (far more than we chose to use). We liked that the bedrooms could also be heated in the evening, if needed. I used the washing machine and the instructions in English were helpful. There were lots of hanging rails to dry clothes on. The kitchen was well equipped and had more than we needed to reheat meals from the convenience store or to make snacks. For the rest of our stay in Japan we stayed in aparthotels in family suites. I was great to have so much room to spread out in for a few days. I highly recommend this property.

She choose to have this and you can tell she is very passionate and informed about the area. Gave great recommendations and ready to help with anything you need. The place is a super nice experience to living in a traditional style house, while also having modern comforts. The women bunk beds were costume made for nice and spacey comfort. And location is perfectly nestled in a quiet neighborhood very close to the park. protip there’s a bike rental place 1 minute around the corner.
