The inn is a 5min walk from Okubo JR station and within 10 min walk to another JR station and Don Quijiote. The location is perfect for the price as it close to Shinjuku area! The bed and pillows were comfy. We stayed in the room next to the entrance but didnt have any problem with sounds from outside so the room is very soundproof. The room equipped with everything! Hand soap, shower cream, shampoo and conditioner! We are very satisfied with the room and what it offered. The staff was so kind helping us bringing our luggages to the room and help us keeping our luggages overnights till our next stay! Internet works fine! Smart TV in the room is a ++++! Will definitely stay again!

Ryokan is located in a very quiet neighborhood, local residential area. There are enough restaurants and supermarkets nearby. We looooved the Japanese breakfast prepared in ryokan. During the 2 days we stayed, every morning different breakfasts were prepared. The room is really clean and comfortable. The stuffs in Ryokan are all very helpful and kind.

Opened in June 2013, The Edo Sakura offers accommodation in a Japanese-style Machiya townhouse located a 5-minute walk from Iriya Subway Station and a 10-minute walk from JR Uguisudani Train Station. Very good breakfast, good location close to subway

Yukata and bedding provided were comfy. It would also appear they've taken previous feedback about noise into consideration, adding a soundproofing layer to the window and greatly reducing the noise (I'm very sensitive to noise and slept through it just fine). Location is great, well-connected to the popular areas, situated right next to a family mart and beautiful river walk. Friendly staffs, easy check-in and check-out processes, very relaxing.

A 2-minute walk from Sendagi Subway Station, Japanese-style hotel Annex Katsutaro Ryokan features rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring and free Wi-Fi internet. Great location near Sendagi station and a walkable distance away from Nippori station. It's located in a residential area, just beside the Yanaka Ginza shopping street which has great food. It's also near the famed snake street and the Yanaka temples. There are also three convenience stores and two supermarkets right outside the ryokan. The ryokan owners are a friendly and helpful elderly couple. They provided enjoyable recommendations around the area. Western-style breakfast is served upon request and has to be made at least a day in advance. The room itself is spacious compared to other japanese business hotels as the futon doesn't take up as much space as a bed. The futon and duvet are also comfortable and provided enough warmth for a winter night. The ensuite bathroom and toilet are clean. Potable water flows from the toilet tap (guests should be aware that cloudy hot water from the tap is a result of trapped air bubbles and not contamination, thus should clear up after a few minutes). Wifi was strong and easy to use. Overall a comfortable and lovely stay! Highly recommended for anyone interested in a stay with local flavour.

Situated in the Asakusa area, Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu has a history of 70 years. The accommodation boasts a view of the Tokyo Skytree from its Hinoki wood bath. Really lovely and convenient ryokan located in the heart of Asakusa. The room was very comfy and quiet which we appreciated after a long day exploring Tokyo. The best part was definitely the bath on the 6th floor - it was sooo nice. Highly recommend this place.

The location is incredibly strategic, just a short walk to the Shinjuku Line station, making it easy to explore anywhere in the city. The neighborhood is convenient with Family Marts, McDonald’s, and plenty of cafes offering great morning coffee options. The house itself is perfect for a family of three—clean, modern, and equipped with a washer. While there’s no dryer, the bathroom’s drying system works wonderfully, leaving clothes ready by the next day. The owner is very responsive and considerate, and the English manuals for everything make staying here a breeze. Highly recommend!

Host was exceptional. Gave recommendations of places to visit, picked us up from the station to the place. Place was nice and homey, had everything you would need. And location was very good and convenient.

Fantastic apartment. Excellent communication with off site staff. Early check in available for a small extra fee which was really helpful after an early flight to Japan. Two separate sleeping areas with sliding doors made for a great home from home for a few days. Easy to get to by direct train from Haneda airport. Would stay again.
