Really nice accommodation, felt more like an air B&B. Location was great right on the beach. Had to walk up the beach a bit for easier waves but waves right outside the door for more advanced surfers. The vibe was amazing , everyone , guest , staff, volunteers all so welcoming and warm! Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. The bed and breakfast features beauty services and a shared kitchen. Jon, Janelle and Lenny's (the boss dog!) place is well worth the stay. Their hospitality is warm, friendly and very helpful, the rooms and bathrooms are clean, spacious, and the beds are super comfortable. The common area and kitchen are really well stocked with cookware, and there's a little grocery store across the street as well as in the town. We loved the viewing deck for lounging in the day. The AC cost (if you use it) is also below the going rate for using AC in Nicaragua, and the ceiling fans / windows move the air around really well. We've been to El Transito a few times and it's by far one of the best deals / places to stay, we're going back again in a few days! You can also ask then questions about what to do and how to get around, they know the area very well and are really helpful.

We arrived at this place around 10:00 pm without a reservation because we had another reservation elsewhere, and for reasons I'd rather not mention, we couldn't use it. Anyway, we found this place on Booking.com, and thankfully, there was room for us (there were 5 of us). The staff was super friendly. The first night, they gave us two rooms, one with a single bed and the other with a bunk bed and two single beds. The rooms were connected by a very large and clean bathroom. The rooms didn't have air conditioning, but they did have fans, which isn't a problem for me, but it was for my partner (he's a bit more picky). The second night, they changed us to a room with air conditioning, and my partner was more than pleased. The place is centrally located and you can walk to León Cathedral if you want. It has parking. Overall, I'm very happy with the luck of having found this hotel.

Wabi Sabi is a great hostel with clean rooms, a fully stocked kitchen and lovely pool. Even has a perfect spot where you can work with good WiFi. The owner is amazing and looks after her guests. I was very happy staying here.

There is a fully equipped kitchen. The staff were very helpful and always smiling to us . They organized Volcano Tour and rent bikes for free.

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. This place is a hidden gem! Such a nice relaxing oasis right in the middle of the city. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the fan keeps the room at a good temp overnight (bathroom was pretty warm!). The staff are so kind and accommodating and the food in the restaurant is AMAZING!! It seemed a little expensive but definitely worth it and the portions are huge too. Thank you so much to the team, they really made our time in Léon special and we enjoyed our afternoons relaxing in the beautiful pool. I think there are just 8 rooms so the staff really give you lots of attention and care.
