What an incredible little island paradise. It was exactly what I had hoped for. Spending the days reading on the veranda while only listening to the waves of Lake Titicaca. Wonderful sunrises every morning and mystical island ruins to explore. After reading that everyone regretted only spending one or two nights here, I booked three. And well... I also regret not staying longer, haha. I feel like you can easily spend a week here and not get tired of this amazing place. It is that kind of location to just relax and disconnect from everything.

Warm family who took the time to talk to us and explain the Uros history and opportunities like solar power that has improved present day living. It was educacional, beautiful setting confortable rooms...we really appreciated the opportunity. Thanks.

Mario and Julia were the best hosts. They showed us all over the island, answered all questions in detail and are just one of the nicest people we have ever met around the world. The island is a magical place, rarely any disturbing noises, just nature and an tranquil lifestyle. The nature is absolutely stunning. If you come to the island make sure to stay at least 1, better 2 or more nights to fully discover the island and to give your mind and soul a proper reset! Rooms were very comfy with 24h electricity and in our case a hot shared shower. You can eat lunch at the local community restaurant and Julia will make breakfast and dinner for a very reasonable price. Local crafts can be bought directly from them or from other families at the main square.These products can not be found in any other place! Just make sure to bring enough cash as there is no ATM on the island and only one little store accepts card payment. If you are in Peru or in Bolivia make sure to spend at least 2 nights here, you will not regret it!

We (family 15-62 years) stayed on this traditional Uros with Willie and his family. He shared a lot about the culture of the Urus. Food was great. The boat ride through the Uros was wonderful and even gave us some insights into the current life of the community. We enjoyed a spectacular sunrise from the observation deck and later from the couch of our room. An unforgettable experience! Thank you Willie.

There aren't enough good things I could write about this homestay!!!! Jose Luis and Pilar are INCREDIBLE, the facilities are so clean and modern and the home-cooked meals are to die for. We loved resting and recouping here, swimming in the lake, and walking about the community. A very wonderful and simple way of life, hosted by amazing and authentic people.

Amazing stay for our three days in Llachon, Lake Titicaca. The hosts were friendly and went over and above for our stay. They organised our tour to Uros, the floating islands and Taquile Island. They came with us to interpret as we only spoke english. The room was warm and very comfortable. The shower was warm and clean. We ate meals there at a very reasonable price. The food was very good. We met other guests from other countries and had an excellent time. We would highly recommend this property and thank the hosts for an excellent stay.

This was one of the most unique experiences of my life - you re literally on a floating island! Isaac and Gladys have created an amazing place, designed to make you feel welcome and cosy. Isaac also took us on an island boat tour and Gladys prepared the most delicious food. You dont stay at the Uros islands expecting a conventional 5 star hotel experience, you go there to experience something you will never forget! Gracias para todos!

Sophia's house is located very close to Amantani's main square. The rooms overlook a patio and, most importantly, the lake view is heavenly. Sophia is an incredible person, who will do everything to pamper you and share her culture, especially her delicious cuisine. A must-do excursion on this peaceful island steeped in history.

We like it a lot the apartment. Contemporary with a nice kitchen and dining area. On the second floor is a living room with an impressive view of the lake. Beds they are big and comfortable. Mother and son are the owners. The son was always available. To order a taxi, take us to the store or the chicken restaurant nearby. He was close to us and early in the morning to see us off and make sure everything was ok. Great guys. Highly recommend!
