The rooms were spacious and comfortable and staff super friendly. A good base to get to the floating markets but not a lot else to do in the area. Would definitely recommend.

Close to some great restaurants and about a 15 minute walk to the Night Market , street food area, and waterfront, about 25 minutes to “Lovers Bridge” get there before 10:00 p.m. /22 as the lights are shut down. Someone was always available via What’s Up for any inquiries we had.

The free bus ride from Airport to Grand World with various stops. The owner pick us up from airport when we arrived, we didn’t know about the free bus ride at that time, she is very helpful during our stay. Washer machine, toaster and coffee maker are available.

Situated in a little residential alleyway off a main road and right opposite one of the (many) pagodas in Soc Trang. That main road is a bit busy during the day but is quiet at night. The room is a good size and very clean. The bed is comfortable and in the room I had there's a nice rocking chair as well - it makes a nice space to just relax if you need some down time. Good aircon but also a fan so you don't need the aircon so much. The shared kitchen is a real plus- it's on a little terrace which is a lovely place to sit in the mornings and evenings. There's a shared fridge with drinking water (free) and other stuff like soft drinks, beer and some basic foodstuffs for a nominal price. It's a 20-30 minute walk to the centre and a riverside walk area, there are mini markets and a bigger supermarket closer than that. Ricky is the perfect host. From the moment I booked he sent me all the information he had on a festival taking place while I was there and also organised my transport to and from Soc Trang. You can borrow bicycles - when I arrived there was one ready which was too big for me and Ricky went out of his way to get hold of a smaller, more manageable one. There's some nice cycling heading out away from the city and it makes it far easier to visit some of the spectacular khmer pagodas.  I was here for a week to coincide with the Ooc Om Boc festival and if I ever get the chance to be in this part of the world again at the right time of year, I would definitely come back here. Highly recommended.   ** I stupidly left a favourite jacket behind by mistake. When I messaged Ricky about it he had already found it, washed it and is in the process of getting it forwarded to me. Top marks!!

We had a great stay at the eco lagoon! Our main contact, Chau, was so friendly and helpful! The room, food, and view were all fantastic. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful place to stay, consider this this property.

Το Homestay Nam Hàm Luông είναι ένα κατάλυμα με θέα στο ποτάμι που βρίσκεται σε Ben Tre. Προσφέρει εστιατόριο, κοινόχρηστη κουζίνα, μπαρ, κήπο και βεράντα. Quiet and peaceful, cute mini houses and great gardens, plus a nice view on the river. Family is nice and inviting. Communicating was a bit hard, I mostly spoke to Han, and he always made sure I was okay. Homestay was a bit a far away from markets or anything else, but you should know that it’s mostly countryside. The good thing is they offer to use the bicycles for free or you can rent the scooters for a fee as taxis or grab are pretty hard to catch one.

He was very welcoming and accommodating to my last minute booking and was able to pick me up within a couple of hours. His English was great and it was a pleasure learning from him on Vietnam and his village. Wifi was great, place was clean and food at cafe tasty with a home cooked vibe.

To Ecoco Homestay Mekong είναι σε Ben Tre και διαθέτει καταλύματα με δωρεάν WiFi και δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης. Eccoc homestay was amazing, it is definitely a once in a lifetime experience. The homestay itself was so calming, with alot of nature and fresh air. They definitely created a family atmosphere. cooking dinner together and through that leaning about vietnamese cooking. Dogs , cats and kids running around so you feel comfortable and can always lean down to pet a dog or play with one of the owners kids that are very friendly. The owners themselves have great English and are very welcoming and accomodating. We borrowed motorbikes and had an accident and the owner came to us right away and made sure we were ok. The peak of the experience is definitely the boat trip with Amie, a full day traveling the river learning about the local culture and food, gathering plants, climbing coconut tree's, fishing and at the end making lunch in nature from everything we gathered. In short it was amazing and definitely an experience worth doing if you are in Vietnam.

The hosts are amazing, super friendly - it is more like a boutique B&B! There are tours available and they took us to the morning market and gave us a cooking lesson of a local speciality. You have to book early as there are only 4-5 rooms- this is absolutely the best accommodation around here! Thank you Quan and Hanh who are both so kind, and Tuyen (handsome and funny)! It is rural, so you are surrounded by coconut palms and roosters, lovely to bike around the area.
