Absolutely beautiful little cottage in the country. It was definitely a home away from home. Fantastic heating for the cold nights. Every appliance and cookery item needed was provided for i the kitchen. It was great to have a washing machine. The bed was very comfortable and the doona was warm and fluffy. This is an exceptional property. Private and quiet with every little detail thought of. It is such a special place and if you want a taste of Ireland and a place to rest and take in the countryside it is perfect. The house was spacious, comfortable and very well equipped with everything you might need. The location was superb, a great base for exploring beautiful West Cork. We went sea swimming every day and we were delighted that there was a space to rinse our gear and a covered washing line outside for drying in all weather. Also, Kara, our host, left us flowers, a bottle of wine and some chocolates on arrival, thank you so much for this unexpected surprise!
