Such a peaceful location just beside the Wolfgangsee lake. All the activities are close by. There are enough activities in the property just to stay indoors and relax. The staff were very helpful and kind.

Family-run for 3 generations, this traditional hotel is located at the beginning of St. Wolfgang's pedestrian zone, right by the shore of Lake Wolfgang. One of the best hotel i've ever stayed in. Everything was perfect. Room was clean, suspicous and warm while it was snowing outside with everything we need. View was breathtaking. Breakfast was amazing with the best view around. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I usually don't review hotels but this one was very special. Thank you!

Location The accommodation is located on one of the most beautiful parts of the lake. It’s also close to the Schafbergbahn train station and the town center, making it a perfect base for exploring all the main attractions. I traveled by rental car, and the dedicated parking area made it very convenient. 2. Condition of the accommodation The place is beautifully and neatly decorated in a warm wooden tone. The furniture and kitchen utensils are all well-equipped. Since the nearby supermarket closes around 6–7 PM, it was fun to buy some ingredients in advance and cook at the apartment. 3. Other notes There aren’t many shops or restaurants right around the accommodation, so it’s best suited for guests traveling by car. But it’s wonderfully quiet, and the mountain scenery and cows behind the property are so lovely. I also enjoyed going for a morning run along the lake right outside the accommodation, and cooking meals there was a great experience. Highly recommended! 4. Good to know As it’s an eco-friendly property, daily cleaning or extra towels may not be provided for short stays, so it’s good to use towels sparingly. I didn’t know this and had to make an extra request — thank you again for accommodating me! (It’s also a good idea to bring your own slippers.) There’s salt and pepper available, but no olive oil, so you might want to pick up a small bottle from the supermarket for cooking. The cups, dishes, cutlery, and kitchen tools are all perfect. I had such a wonderful stay and truly lovely memories :)

The house is new, clean, the apartment has a fully equipped kitchen. Internet works well, parking is easy next to the house. There is also a nice view from the balcony. We would go back anytime.

Check in and out was easy. Parking is free and there is enough space for about 3-4 cars. As a pleasant surprise, were greeted with sweets on the kitchen table also with beer, soda, cheese, milk and sausages in the refrigerator. The owner is kind and helpful. The location is amazing! Located in a small village called Winkl near Wolfgangsee with a beautiful panoramic view to the village and the mountains behind it. The apartment has two balconies, both looking towards the mountains. The complete house is brand new, equipped with modern furnitures, machines, cutlery and everything you would need for a longer stay. We stayed on the top floor which is perfect for four people or for two couples. In the morning the view from the apartment is amazing, not only from the balconies but from every room, because it has huge windows facing towards the mountains and the countryside. Nice and peaceful environment. The Wolfgangsee is like 20 minutes of walking distance.

The place must have been designed by a skilled interior designer or by someone with taste. We felt at home and loved the views. This was definitely the unexpected highlight and most relaxing part of our Austria trip. The hosts were also very great people.
