Large room, rooftop terrace with hot tub was a nice addition as well. The staff are really kind and accommodating (despite us not speaking Spanish). Location was great to get to Minca and Tayrona (7min walk to the public market to catch a bus to either location)

Casa Zarah - Alma Hotels es un alojamiento con una ubicación excelente en el centro de Santa Marta, a 4 min a pie de Playa de la bahía de Santa Marta y a 500 metros de Catedral de Santa Marta. Room 2 was spacious. The room was clean when we arrived. The use of the swimming pool after a hot day was refreshing. The staff were super friendly, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast meals were delicious. The property is walking distance from everything.

Comfortable. Amazing views. Right in nature. Staff were extremely friendly. The road to get there is not paved: if coming by car, you need a 4x4 that is off-road ready. Otherwise, there are readily accessible moto-taxis from Minca.

Sana Mar Hostel & Eco-Café, que cuenta con jardín, salón de uso común y terraza, se encuentra en el centro de Santa Marta, a 8 min a pie de Playa de la bahía de Santa Marta. The owner/manager Justin was so lovely, answered all of our questions and gave some great tips for the local area. He was also so lovely in all interactions with the other staff, it was just a super comfortable and homely hostel. So many little spots to sit and enjoy a cool breeze, our favourite was the hammock! The hostel was about 10 mins away from the bustling tourist area which made sleeping easier as it was pretty quiet. The breakfast was amazing, eggs + toast + cheese + fruit + coffee! Honestly would happily go back to Santa Marta just to stay in this hostel!

Zirwa Hotel Boutique - Dentro del Parque Tayrona está en Zaino, a 5 min a pie de Playa Castilletes, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y restaurante. We arrived late afternoon which meant our room was ready straight away. The hotel were helpful in advance letting us of the park entrance ticket booth closing time which meant we arrived before closing time (5pm). The hotel is beautiful, the views are fantastic and the sky was clear both nights we were there which meant we could stargaze from our terrace. It was super quiet and peaceful. Right by one of the main entrances to the park, easy to find and very easy to start our hike into the park early in the morning. They have a pingpong table and board games in the dining room which were fun to play in the evenings too. We will be back!

The most amazing place. I love the location and the beautiful landscape, the gardens, the pool. The rooms are big and lovely bathroom. But above all the staff!!! Out of this world hospitality and consideration. They took such excellent care of us. The family is so proud of this place and want to share everything. You will not regret staying here.
