The hostal is walking distance from the main plaza and other attractions. Very peaceful atmosphere and beautiful small garden. We planned to stay here 2 nights but extended to stay two more nights.

I LOVED this hotel - it was so cozy and adorable! The view was incredible and the service was top notch! The food was another level and the grounds were spectacular! I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Otavalo area.

Hostal "El Geranio" is located in the Otavalo town centre, 2 hours’ drive from the capital city, Quito. This property offers free Wi-Fi access, free parking and free daily breakfast. Aesthestically it is warm and pretty with flowers,wood and brick.Thrre is a huge space in the back with grass,citrus trees and an avocado tree which attracted birds.The staff which is a family were the kindest hosts.I also appreciated they offered filtered drinking water to avoid the purchase of plastic bottles.
