Ideally located right in the sea front in Douglas, Isle of Man’s capital, Cubbon House offers bed and breakfast accommodation, en suite guest rooms and free WiFi. The hosts were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Although the room was small it was because of the age of the house. The house was very clean and attractive. Plenty of hot water. There was everything I needed and, what I hadn't expected, was a fridge. The house is on the waterfront very close to transport and shops. The breakfast room looks out to see and is sunny. The cooked breakfast was good. Cereal, yoghurt and fruit was available. An iron and ironing board are available on each floor. After checkout they are happy to store luggage.

Beautifully furnished & decorated throughout, great bathroom with a large shower, perfect central location in a historically interesting square & a super comfortable bed. To top it off, the hosts were wonderfully helpful!

Affordable luxury with superior service, the Ascot has a reputation for customer care and satisfaction. Super nice staff very friendly, couldn't ask for more really!
