If you want to reset completely, Casa Lobo is literally the perfect place for your stay in San Pedro La Laguna. The hosts are SO welcoming and kind and make you feel like you’re coming home after an adventurous day! I stayed in the dorm and honestly haven’t only had the best shower, but also the best sleep ever in whole Central America! The kitchen is super well equipped and there is even a pizza delivery service straight to the hostel. How cool!!! In conclusion- DEFINITELY stay here. I promise you will love it like I do!

Offering a year-round outdoor pool and located at the edge of Lake Atitlán, Hotel Toliman is set in San Lucas Tolimán in the Solola Region, 45 km from Antigua Guatemala. The grounds of this hotel are spectacular! It is right by the dock, so it is easy to walk to the property. The restaurant is very reasonably priced, considering that there are not a lot of options for dining (we were on foot). The food is exceptional, and plenty of it comes from their organic garden, of which we had a lovely tour. The hotel website offers full details of how community minded and eco-friendly this business is. The pool looks odd because it is dark. However, I imagine it helps heat the water, along with the solar panels. If you are looking for a couple of days in paradise, this is the place. And the view from the restaurant 🤩
