Such an affordable place but with amazing service! The rooms are simple but super clean, and the hostel is well-organized. We booked the Ijen tour through them, and it was smooth and totally worth it. The staff even sent us recommendations for local food and places to visit before we arrived, which was a really nice touch!

It felt calm and safe, even for a solo female traveler. The rooms were basic but clean, and the showers had hot water (which I didn’t expect!). Staff were soft-spoken and respectful, and the other guests were laid-back—not rowdy backpackers, which I appreciated. A great choice if you’re looking to unwind for a few days.

Se oferă la locație parcare privată.... It was nice, very clean and cozy. Location is a bit far from center, but they are super cheap so it was great value of money. We did laundry and cook in the house, their facilities are great. Their tours were also amazing. The house is quite social as we also met other travelers there and we can hang out together. So far we enjoyed our stay.

This one is among the best, comparable to Seattle hostels. Very clean, comfortable, everything is well-organized in the house, comfortable sleeping places. The owner is very hospitable! Right on the spot, they organized a tour to the volcano Ijen for me, for which I came here. The place is quiet, calm, on the river bank, but there are no mosquitoes. A dream of a perfectionist traveler!😃

Warm welcome from Johan and his nephew, the room was clean and already fresh with the AC. The place felt like home and we could also use the kitchen. The breakfast was very good with plenty of food and fruits. The location is perfect, in a calm neighborhood, close to the city center. We also plan the visit to Ijen with Johan and everything went smoothly ! Thanks for everything, it was a pleasure to meet you :)

Maison Manendra - Bromo se află în Gubukklakah, la 22 km de Muntele Bromo, și pune la dispoziție o grădină, o terasă și parcare privată gratuită. The location is amazing, great views from the rooftop and very close access to the Mount bromo and Sea of sand. The daily dinner was really good and the host created a good atmosphere with all the other guests. Furthermore he advised me on a really cool (and challenging) route to drive to Mt Bromo by motorbike giving me a very unique experience.
