We slept like babies! Very comfortable single beds and they offered extra blankets. They offer suggestions for dinner in the village but in case of emergency there are also snacks and instant noodles sold there. Anyone can use the kitchen facilities too! Also the gym of the high school is open to use :) Clean toilets and showers!

Takayama is tiny so everywhere is walkable but still, the location is great, just a 30-second walk to the train and bus station.

Would definitely recommend and visit again.

From communications prior to our arrival to meeting our host and the entire stay, we had a wonderful experience! The kitchen is large and fully stocked, they have a washer and dryer, and the rooms were exactly as listed. Our host was courteous and the staff would keep the guest house super clean. They even gave us a bottle of fresh squeezed locally farmed mandarin juice, which was delicious.
