Wilpattu Restaurant & Guest house se găsește în Pahala Maragahawewa, la aproximativ 33 km de Kumbichchan Kulama Tank și la 33 km de Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi. Brand new rooms above a small restaurant. Welcoming and kind host family. Strong AC and beautiful view from the balcony. Be aware there is no hot water, but as we learned, this is fairly common in Sri Lanka. It’s on the main road, so there is some traffic noise, but it didn’t bother us. Dinner is also available with notice to the family.

There were no other guests that night so I had the living room and verandah to myself. Everything went as expected.

The pool is really good, located in nature And feels like a spring. The food is excellent. The staff is really good. We stayed in 3 hotels in the city and this is the best hotel by far. A great place for children. Highly recommended for those who want to be in a beautiful place in nature and close to all the historical sites. We had a great experience, highly recommend.

From start to finish, our stay at Emerald was amazing! The room was super clean and comfortable, The bathroom was spacious with large shower and plenty of warm water The breakfast and dinner were both outstanding, with well-prepared local dishes that really showcased the flavors of the area. The hosts were exceptionally kind, always ready to assist and make sure we had everything we needed. We highly recommend this place

MONI FARM HOUSE WILPATTU se află în Nochchiyagama și are unități de cazare cu aer condiționat. La proprietate există o terasă, iar oaspeții au la dispoziție WiFi gratuit și parcare privată gratuită. Staff were amazing and host was easy to contact and flexible. Location was well out of the way with an amazing lake within a few minutes walk with trials to walk also bit perfect for Wilpattu national park. Food was really nice and the room had everything you could need.

Perfect location 2 mins walk from the entrance to the national park. Lovely attentive hosts, the Mrs is an excellent cook and we ate like kings for our two night stay - breakfasts simple and tasty, dinner an enormous rice and curry spread that could've fed and army, and the lunch box we had on our safari was a tiffin full of delicious fried rice and curry with loads of snacks and drinks. The safari our hosts organised was excellent, just the two of us in the jeep and a driver/guide who could spot an ant from a mile away. Unfortunately no leopards for us but incredible birdlife, and various other animals (spotted and barking deer, warthogs, crocs, mongooses, grey langurs etc).. They also organised very reasonably priced transfers between our accommodations afterwards. There's also a nice loop walk near the lake close to the accommodation for an evening stroll. Highly recommend this place for your time in Wilpattu.
