The room is comfortable and kept it warm (we stayed in May). Cindy and Schalk are amazing! For us who are super shy, they explained us everything and made us feel welcome. The toilet is not in the room, but is just for you so it was perfect. You can use the kitchen if you like and there is a lot of space for parking. Last but not least, the view from the room is amazing!

The house is very spatious and well decorated. There is even a little play room for the children. The breakfast was very good too. We would definitely come back and cannot recommend them enough.

The location of the house, close to town and we loved the lake also seeing the beautiful sunrise every morning. Inside the house was immaculate, ever cosy and welcoming.

The friendly welcome from our hosts Jan and Chris. The accommodation was exactly as described. Very comfortable, nice breakfast selection including lovely fresh sourdough bread. Jan recommended heading to the surf beach to see the last of the sun which was beautiful. She also recommended a restaurant/pub for dinner which was perfect for our last night in NZ. To top it all off, the skies were so clear from the garden, we were able to see the Milky Way and millions of stars. A perfect end to our holiday. Thanks for hosting us. Couldn't have been better.

Such a lovely place. Our host, Alice was very helpful. We had full use of her kitchen. Great sunsets. The house was set right on the harbour so we were able to go out the garden right into the harbour for a swim. A real treat!
