Casa Morey is located in Iquitos, facing the Itaya River. It offers spacious rooms with elegant décor and free Wi-Fi. An American breakfast is served daily. Spacious room with a separate living room and a small kitchen area. Very high ceiling which I love. Squeaky clean and a historic building. Staff is super nice and helpful. Breakfast was fabulous with toast, juice, eggs and some stir fried veggies. Right at the end of a pedestrian only social area. Far exceeds my expectations. Love the reception hall as well.

Gli host Pablo e Lorena sono persone molto gentili, accoglienti e disponibili. Il progetto è a gestione familiare ed è una chicca rispetto al resto offerto da Iquitos. Posto molto bello, in riva al fiume, ubicato alla fine di un paesino di pescatori, santo Tomas. La struttura offre la possibilità di navigare il fiume in canoa o in barca, o di fare escursioni nella selva. La struttura mette a disposizione un'area relax con amache dove si può ammirare il fiume e i dintorni in tranquillità. Piccola nota negativa, il paesino di santo Tomas che precede la struttura può essere un po' rumoroso, e la musica ad alto volume potrebbe contrastare con la quiete della struttura. Viene servito pesce fresco pescato in giornata. Colazione e pranzo semplici, non molto abbondanti, ma buoni.

The guest house was very close to the airport. The owners were very friendly and helpful. They even drove me to the airport with my luggage. The airconditioning in the room worked very well. The room was very clean, and it was a nice surprise to find a fridge, kettle, closed toaster and plates and cutlery. The host was super helpful and responded very quickly. He gave me a number for a moto taxi to the airport, who gave me a good price.
