The houses are well equipped and the layout is very well designed. Very accommodating, we booked quite late in the day and we got a restaurant reservation straight away. The restaurant and breakfast food is very good, local and fresh. Beds and sheets are incredible, extremely comfortable.

Our family was dreaming about small trip to Tara National park, and we were looking for a place where we can come with our dog — and Tara Land Lake is perfect one! Astonishing view and all facilities required for comfortable rest, including grill, hammok-chair, jacuzzi. All the furniture is in great condition, always enough hot water. Location is close to all beautiful places (Banska Stena 50 min drive, Janjac Vrh 30 min drive). Pets are welcome! Huge thanks to the owner's hospitality, that let us feel ourselves like at home since the first minute and spend such amazing time in mountains!!!

Every evening Nice cozy houses, perfect cleanliness. Good owner, friendly. Every evening there is a fire. The houses are next to the forest, very quiet and peaceful, but very close to Mitrovac (1 km), there are restaurants and a shop there. For walkers there is a secret route through the forest to the village of Mitrovac.

Tarvil Apartments are close to the Zaovinsko lake and a bunch of mountain peaks with amazing vistas. We went to the Janjač peak, where on one side you can see the famous bridge in Višegrad and pn the other the Zaovinsko lake! Amazing views! The apartment itself was just gorgeous! Stylish, impecably clean, with the view of the lake! The nearby restaurant (same name, same owners) is awesome too! I highly recommend it!

We recently spent 3 at Drvene kuće ŠUŠKA, and it was genuinely one of the most memorable stays we’ve had. From the moment we arrived, everything surpassed our expectations. The kitchen had everything we needed, the living area was warm and inviting, and the bedrooms were comfortable with large windows framing stunning mountain views. Our mornings on the terrace, sipping coffee while gazing at the valley and lake, were unforgettable. Location is outstanding. Perched in nature yet within reach of beautiful trails, Zaovine Lake, and local attractions, it’s ideal for both peace and exploration. We loved having gorgeous walking paths close by and being immersed in serenity away from city noise. But what truly sets this place apart is the host, Dragana. She was warm, responsive, and went above and beyond welcoming us, sharing local tips, and even surprising us with homemade treats. Her hospitality elevated the entire experience. If you’re seeking a tranquil escape in the Serbian mountains, one that balances comfort, character, and nature: Drvene kuće ŠUŠKA is a gem. We are already planning our return!
