She even had to wait for us till 12:00am for a late checkin , I initially told her we would arrive by 9pm but due to delay in the trip we arrived at midnight, she was very understanding and provided tips about the road and where we can eat since it was very late. She gave us recommendations on where to buy dates from and souvenirs. The house was very clean which I really appreciated, all amenities available and she provided an amenity as Soon as we asked for it.

Very friendly people, and I loved the location right beside the oasis. It was still right beside town and easy to walk to everything, but felt like a beautiful retreat. Incredibly friendly owners who are very open to having conversations with their guests. Travelled in the low season so had our room upgraded for free as they hadn’t many guests during our stay. The homecooked dinner we ordered was delicious, as was the breakfast which was included. This is what a bed & breakfast/Maison D’Hôtes should be and set a high bar for the rest of our travels in Tunisia.

At the Dar Amina you will find everything you could possibly want. Clean, nicely furnished rooms, a pool in summer and a house that even the locals say is the most beautiful in the entire medina. But all that is nothing compared to the wonderful owner. She is one of the most delightful and amazing people you will ever meet. Come and visit Tozeur and the Dar Amina!

The place is charming, clean, and beautifully decorated, offering a perfect mix of comfort and Tunisian authenticity. The host was incredibly welcoming , always available, and even helped us find a great deal for a 4x4 desert tour, which made our trip even more special. The peaceful courtyard, the fire place and delicious local breakfast were also highlights. Perfect location, great service—I highly recommend it!

The house you rent is aboslutely enormous and very isolated. The host was very friendly and forthcoming and even provided us with firewood to start the fireplace. We were not able to use the pools since it was quite cold during that time.
